This event will also be featured in the documentary American Graveyard.

A discussion about Staten Island’s flora and the archaeological wonders hidden beneath the soil with John Kilcullen of the NYC Parks Department and Dr. Elizabeth Meade of the archaeology group PANYC.

Descendants from Sandy Ground and Cherry Lane will discuss family, community, memory, and the intertwined histories of these two important sites in Common Ground, moderated by public historian Debbie-Ann Paige.

Our final program will be the sceening of new American Graveyard footage, followed by a conversation with director Heather Quinlan and Debbie-Ann Paige and moderated by Historic Richmond Town curator Gabriella Leone.
